Eugene L. Hollins
Gene Hollins is a member of the Wiles, Boyle, Burkholder & Bringardner municipal law practice. Gene has extensive municipal law experience in both the public and private sectors. After serving as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Alan E. Norris, U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit, he began his practice with the Columbus law firm Squire, Sanders & Dempsey before moving to Metz & Bailey in Westerville in 1993. His service in the public sector includes his roles as village solicitor for Canal Winchester, Obetz and Minerva Park.

- Successful defense of Westerville and negotiation of settlement with Richard Solove, John Chester, Continental and Casto to oppose construction of a Wal-mart in a planned commercial district; assistance in creation of a TIF to reimburse city for costs of negotiated items of settlement
- Acquisition of right-of-way and easements, including filing of “quick-take” appropriations for several road projects; negotiations with general contractors regarding change order claims and close-out of projects
